It's opening day for the new 2011 baseball season! That means new players, retired players and players still in their careers. Lots of more fun great games to go to and watch. Because it's always fun going to the ball park watching the players and getting some hot dogs and ice cream is the best. And if your lucky go to the games early and you could get some ones autograph on something like your glove, shrit, bat, ball, baseball card, photo. But for that day if your really in luck they could give you their bat! For me I have not went to one in 3 years! My family is not a huge baseball fan. I like playing baseball thats for sure but I do not watch baseball on TV that much. But I do love playing the game.
One of my good friends also loving playing the game too but I think a lot more. Because he said opening day for baseball should be a hoiliday. I do not agree on that one but I find it funny that he said that. We play baseball all the time together. But were we live there is no baseball fields so we play catch or we hit lightly.
But that is the most things I can think of to say for opening day. Soooo! "Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team, If they don't win it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out, At the old ball game."

An inconvenient truth
We only have one Earth of what we know as humans. That is why we all need to protect it. Says Al Gore Author of "An inconvenient truth". Al talks about how over time ( with pictures of course!) how the world has been changing. One of his first pictures he shows is a mountain ( Mount Kilimanjaro) in Tanzania, 1970. Full of snow and big puffy snow clouds around it. But then in 2005 over 35 years almost all of the snow is gone plus no clouds so it looks like a very big hill. That's not just the one cases there are 181 pages to this book talking more about cases and why we should do something about it. Plus hundreds if not thousands of more books talking about that and the internet! There is so much evidence out there it's not even funny. You can even look for it! But people do miss what is right in what's in front of there eyes. But how really important for us to know what we are doing to the world?
How is the Earth getting warmer? What I found out in the book that our greenhouses are putting gases in our atmosphere that hold in heat such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide which is not good. The sun's energy will be soaked up by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. But when too much of the greenhouse gases in our atmosphere that is how global warming is made. So it is heating up our globe. If you happen to say "who cares if it's getting hotter that means hotter nicer summer days".
All of that is wrong. It effects everything around us. Animals, plants, us and almost everything. Habitats for animals and plant would gone the plants that would live of the environment would be dead so when that one animal needs to eat that plant it can't eat so that animals dies and then the animal that would live off of that animals would die and then so on. Like have you heard on the news or somewhere that you can see the polar bears standing but there but there's no ice for them to stand on. It's a perfect example.
The bears habitat is going away because the gases with the suns heat is melting the ice for the bears so more and more are dying. And plants and animals aren't the only ones going to take a hit. If most of the north and south poles are melted Florida will be 2/5 of flooded underwater. It's not just Florida that's going to get it it's also all around the world too.
But if that does happen some people will relies that you don't know how much you have until you lose it. And they should have tried to stop it. But I do hope that I gave you some information about Global Warming and it could be nice to know for the future. Bad things mother nature will bring on us that day and "no" it will not be a hot summer day if we do not do anything about it now bad thing can and will happen. And I just do my best to do the share of the work to try to help out. It's pretty crazy if you think about it. But anything is possible.

One of my best childhood memorys
It all started in the very first day of kidergarten. This was the time I was metting my teacher for the first time.
At the time I was really into Pokemon. And when we got there I did not know many people there. So when I was waitting to met my teacher Mrs.Wallworth there was a kid waring a Pokemon hat so I asked my mom if I could go over to him and my mom said yes. I new we were going to be good friends. I guess I could just feel it.
When I walked up to him I said "hi" and he said hi back. I said do you want to see some of my pokemon toys and he said sure. I remember that I only had some Pokemon key chains to my backpack but the whole time we were talking and playing with them. At the end I also remember asking my mom if we could a play date that day but she said not today. I kept on asking her and then my mom starts talking to his mom and they were working out a play date then when they were done I was so happy that I had a play date coming up and I got a friend on my first day of school. Which so happens to be my very best friend still to this day.
It was very nice having Tony G. in my class that year.We would play all the time. We would sit next to each other when it was story time. ( hahahaha) But coming all the way up to 1st, 2nd, 3nd, 4th, 5th, 6th I did not have Tony in one of my class which is six years without him in my class which stinked but we would play with each other outside on the play ground. But now in 7th grade we have some classes together but not that much. For that one day maked 6 years of having a really good friend. That is my story of metting my best friend.

Beaches
I like going to Pewaukee lake to go walking around the beach to watch everyone except this one little kid that's tired so thatwas nice and peaceful (but not the kid). And I play sand football which is fun but you do not want to fall in the sand because then it gets in your eyes. And then that hurts!
But mostly go swimming and throw a water ball around. Most of the time my brother and me would make big sand castles. Then when we would get going little kids would take over and eather break it or start building it more. And in my mind I would be thinkingno! Because all the work we out in it but it won't last for ever any ways.
When we would we were done with all of that which would be about 4 to 5 hours with would go to the chocolate factory and get 2 or 3 scoops.I would get blue moon, super man, chocolate. Man would that be good!Then that would be my time at the beach.

March Madness
It's March and that means March Madness! What do you think when it's March? I'am not a huge basketball fan I now a little bit about the teams but not to much.I do like playing basketball for the fun of it but I never watch it on tv. I know that the Bucks are not a very good team or the Rockets but that is pretty much all I know about the NBA teams. But march madness is for collage teams right? Any ways it was nice when we has it in Horizon.
I always had a good time when it came to Horizons March madness But I never played in it but I was in the band and it was fun to the play the music.It would be fun to booo everyone and cheering and screaming so it would be crazy. Some how the teachers would be able to stay the same score as the students.Then again the teachers were taller and at some point you could tell that were trying to give the ball to the students so they would'nt feel bad which I think is really babyish!
And every year there it would be a very close score and every one would be going nuts! At the end of the game it would sound like the super bowl. It was as loud as heck!! My voice would hurt after the game for screaming so it would a really fun day. That is what I think of March Madness.

Over the Wall
In the book, "Over the Wall' by John H. Ritter, you
get to know a thirteen year old boy named Tyler
Tyler loves baseball but the baseball fields has
turned into a battle field for Tyler. He tries to
keep his anger under control but he still ends up
in a fight any ways. If he does not keep his temper
under control he can screw it up on his dream of making
the all-star team and being noticed by the scouts
so Tyler needs to change his temper on the baseball field.
In the beginging of the book Tyler was playing with
his little sister Lissie. But Tyler was about 4 when
this happened. Lissie was hiding so no one knew where
she was and then Tylers dad starts backing out of the
garage not knowing that she was right behind him so Tylers
dads starts running over Lissie and when that was happening
Tyler saw her and ran over and was screaming to his dad to
stop and the dad did stop. In the end a blood had burst in
her head from screaming so much and been over by a truck
so that day Lissie died.
Now here is how I would have handled it. First the dad should
of looked to see if anything was on the drive way. And for sure
with the big truck he was driving. Second that little girl should
of not been hiding like that. And right away call 911 or drive fast to
the hospital. That is how I would have handled that big problem.
And after the accented Tylers day did not say much at all for 6 years!
From time to time Tylers dad would talk about baseball and sometimes
play catch with Tyler outside.
Tylers dad knew Tyler liked baseball a lot so Tylers dad signed Tyler in baseball league. But even the first game Tyler gets into a fight in his first baseball game! The other kids where calling him names and there were lots of bad calls so Tyler through some punches at the kids and he got thrown out of his first game.
First I would not lessen to the kids and it is so not worth throughing punches. And you"ll not get even close for a scout to like him if he is doing stuff like that at the games.
In the end of the book Tyler never made the all Star team or get a scout but his coach stop coaching for the All star team and endded up going to take Tyler on some tournaments so he would be on a tournament baseball team and that'show the book " Over the Wall" Endded.

Career Ideas
Ever since I was two years old I wanted to become a pro golfer.
That is when I started playing the game. My mom and dad
Both have video and pictures of me playing golf when I was little in my
Backyard playing. But I think it was my grandpa that started to play with me then which started my love for the game. The book " Career Ideas"(for kids who like sports.) Helps me thinks what I am going to do in the future. And The book will try to help me get Organized. So I am going to tell you what I plan on doing in the Future if I choose to try to be a golf pro.
Like I said I have been playing golf since I was two. So I have been playing for 11 years! And I started golf lessons when I was about 8 years old. And this summer I might be going into the PGA junior golf tournament! Which I would be my first one so I would be very excited and very nervous! 13-18 years olds play in it. I think am good enough to go in but how good is everyone else? I will also be in golf lessons this summer too. That is my plans for this summer. Next I'll tell you what I might be doing in high school.
My goal is to be a golf pro but that takes lots of hard work! My plans are to get a golf scholarship. And to be on the Pewaukee Pirates golf team and bring back a trophy. And for my first job is to work at a golf course. So when I work there I can hit balls there For free because that's practicing for free. Plus golf can get very expensive.
Now from the book this is what It takes to do those things. For me I have to be getting scoring around in the lower 70's in 18 holes which would be a pretty good player and I need to have some tournament wins and need to have good grades which is a 3.6 or over in grade Average. Which I can cross off my list for things to do because al least right I am getting good grades. And I need to be doing good To make the Pirate golf team and bring back a trophy. And I do hope that when I am in High school there will be some golf course job open. If not I do not know what job I would do.
But overall you need to be a responsible, nice and hard worker and you need to be better then the Average person to be a pro golfer. So I hope one day that I will become a golf pro because that's my dream.
